Customer & Dealer satisfaction
(I am also adding some questions from customers)
Here are some of my satisfied customers regarding ordering. For product testimonials look here.
Thank you for your prompt service......Amsoil should be thankful they have you on their team.
After contacting at least two local dealers and Amsoil direct trying to order $250. + of products, and being what I feel was "JERKED AROUND" I was about 1 minute away from trashing the idea of using amsoil products ever again.
I guess things happen the way they are supposed to and I just made the right call.
Thanks again & Happy Holidays!

Man... talk about fast service, I just got home and the oil and filters were waiting for me... looks like my Saturaday morning just got busy. Thanks for the quick service and let me know about the fuel filters.
Have a great weekend
One of my newer dealers and has really moved up quickly working part time from work.
Ches This is a Thank you. I've just completed only my 3rd month of trading as an AMSOIL dealer. I've passed the 1,000 commission credits for the month and find myself earning the money that I had optimistically targeted for 9 months of being a dealer. Sure, I'm not paying the mortgage (Yet!), but I do indeed see the business potential we discussed when I first enquired about the AMSOIL opportunity. If January-March are the quiet months, then bring on the summer!!
AMSOIL is a great product and for people like me who are prepared to put the time and effort in necessary, the rewards are most defiantly there. In addition to some work and effort on my part, I believe that the following have been key to my initial success:
- Great team leadership by you Ches:-
Passing on sales leads and catalog requests for me to action and earn money from,
Technical & business advise almost 24/7, when I need it,
Links to my website - invaluable and has lead to income for me,
The Group Newsletters - With good AMSOIL business pointers to help me shape my business. Joining your AMSOIL Group for the reasons above has probably been one of my better decisions.
Mark AMSOIL Dealer
A recent letter from one of our newest dealers. Steve is in Cincinnati, OH.
The more I learn about Amsoil products and the company itself just confirms to me what a smart decision I made to become a dealer. I read your newsletter and could not help but get more excited. Thank you for taking the time to share this info with us.
Ches, I'm getting more excited about the boat show in Cincinnati in January. I think I can use that as a springboard to really develop relationships with vendors and companies who would make great customers.
Ches, as you know I'm only working Amsoil on a limited basis and I'm training my wife, Pam, to do a lot of the catalog business from the leads you send our way and to send out follow up letters to retail businesses I visit.
When you come in January I would like you to help me focus my limited time and energy in one or two areas. I am not mechanical in nature and I have a lot to learn about the product and the best ways to approach customers.
My immediate goals:
1. get a few retail accounts so there will be some local vendors on your website, and to use these vendors as a springboard with other vendors.
2. get a few downline dealers.
3. Learn product so that I can have the knowledge and confidence to approach commercial accounts. It seems to me that commercial accounts are the way to go along with focusing on the marine and motorcycle market.
4. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the marine bypass system and the engine pre-oiler. Any additional info you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for all you help, your patience, and your time as I realize you have invested a lot more in me than you have received so far.
We take pride in the information you request! Please ask us anything. We will answer all your questions thoroughly!
Warranty?? AMSOIL Drain intervals?
A Customer recently sent me this email:
I use 3 quarts of Castrol Syntec and 5 quarts of the Castrol Syn-Blend. I have an engine pre-lubricator. I have a question. The dealer tells me that it does not matter who's oil I use, I still need to follow their recommended oil service interval. Now if the manufacturer recommends every three thousand miles, then what is the advantage of using your product other than a more expensive oil change?
To answer your question, the dealership is taking advantage of you. There is an act of congress. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the FTC prohibits any manufacturer from voiding warranties by the use of aftermarket parts and maintenance. By them making that statement they are essentially avoiding liability under a written warranty where a defect is unrelated to the use by a consumer of ‘‘unauthorized’’ articles or service. That is a violation of section 110 of the Act.
AMSOIL Synthetic motor oils are guaranteed to last for the specified interval as printed based on the service style.. If you are told otherwise by a service department or anyone else, they are simply uninformed and not doing anyone justice. If they insist - please ask for it in writing! Please see more on this subect in our Magnuson-Moss example area.
But if they were to give you any trouble, just say, "If the oil is still good, why change it??"
A warranty can only be voided ONLY IF they test and prove the OIL was the cause of the problem. this has never happened in the 34 years AMSOIL has been in business. So, #1 there has to be a problem and they must determine that you caused the problem to the satisfaction of the law and AMSOIL's policy. If you follow AMSOIL's service recommendations you are covered and you save money. Rely on 15,000 to 25,000 mile changes or per the service interval stated with the product. Thousands have been relying on them for years. If you had any doubts yourself, why not try the Analysis and see yourself?
What is your interval now? 10,000 miles? I am not aware of any engine today where the manufacturer is still recommending 3000 miles. The additives in AMSOIL allow the emmision systems to last longer and efficiency is extended. My daily driver is at 105,000 and I still get 36 MPG on ythe interstate. I also keep my injectors like new with the AMSOIL PI. The reduced friction is worth about a 5% increase in mileage and the transmission fluids also add about 5%.
But check with us because AMSOIL is not expensive and is 100% pure American made. No foreign oil products. AMSOIL is designed to save you money and the costs of replacing your vehicle or expensive avoidable servicing. Expect tens or hundreds of thousands more miles and years to your vehicle. Because of the high film strength and the significant reduction in wear, the oil pre-lubricator the customer mentions becomes an unnecessary expense. Those are primarily designed for large earth moving vehicles or high powered work engines using remote oil systems.
For myself, it was the added performance that sold me. I couldn't see any reason to not use it.
My order arrived today. Thanks for the quick service! Take care,

Just received my order !!!
That's some fast shipping my friend.
Your organizational skill and AMSOIL's` network are to be commended.
This was from his prior message when he made payment:
I thank you for your quick email responses and your willingness to get my order right. Customer service online usually blows, its nice to see someone that takes online orders seriously.
Thanks again Ches
This latest testimonial was posted on the MINI Cooper forum.
I ordered this with my AMSOIL shipment from Ches and it's pretty slick stuff! I just added the 6 ozs to my 10-gallon fill up this morning. It's supposed to clean fuel deposits, reduce emissions, and clean injectors.
Almost immediately, the ride on my 27K-mile-old MCS felt improved, throttle response was sharper, and acceleration felt like silk. I highly recommend this stuff, especially if your car is getting long in the tooth.

This is another comment from a long time customer of mine. See 'Bill - NYC' Police below for prior comments.
hi chez,I installed the motor oil and front and rear differential lubes. I already see an increase in my mileage. I know you don't have to add the additive(4oz.) TOTHE REAR IF I AM USING THE 75W140 lube, however I have a slight wheel hop(jumps a little)when I turn a corner. this is at a low speed and normal driving. wouldit hurt to add the additive or not. let me know. I have the limited slip rear3.92 gears. maybe it is normal. I'm not sure. thanks for the help. bill
Answer: AMSOIL Synthetic gear lubes do not require the use of this additive. However, not all differentials respond the same and if chatter is noticed, the AMSOIL Slip-Lock will eliminate it. (for chattering differentials not running AMSOIL Gear Lube, this product is an excellent solution to this problem.)
I e-mailed you last week, and had a question regarding the synthetics. I have heard that some users will get burning oil if their seals are worn.
I have a 1998 es300 with 39,000 miles on it. Do you think that I would run into the issues some of the higher mileage cars have with synthetics?
Hi,Well in general it is a tough question to answer. High mileage engines to me imply ones that have not had proper maintenance. If the vehicle is in good running condition and has 150,000 miles, in most cases switching to synthetic after a engine flush is not a problem. Now if it is worn and has serious engine deposits there may be some leakage as the detergents in AMSOIL washes out the carbon deposits and then over time the seals can soften up. But if there is a ring problem where the oil enters the combustion chamber it may not smoke as much but will use about the same amount of oil since the oil is drawn in by crankcase pressure. If there is a problem with emission controls and oil enters the EGR system, you can actually extend the life of the car as AMSOIL (only Amsoil) has the lowest volatility and will cut emissions and only looses a fraction of it's weight when tested against other synthetics. AMSOIL is formulated for all stages of engine life so only one oil is needed. I used the 10W30 (AMT) is a air cooled 1961 Corvair engine (van) and never had a issue with it. It was rebuilt and had 60,000 when I bought it.So if their car is not burning oil now, it will not burn any with AMSOIL...Hope this helps.

6/19/03 Here is a request and comment I just received in my email:
Is an air filter available for a Ford f-150 4.6 liter engine? I switched over to Amsoil in a
2001 Ford 150 Super Cab with a 4.2 Liter v-six. I also changed out the rear end oil and
did I ever notice a change in performance and gas mileage. At that time the only thing missing was the oil saturated air filter and I was afraid of K&N. Has Amsoil started to make the air filters for Ford yet? Also, the Mobil 1 filter is very highly rated and very close to an Amsoil filter in performance. Are there any negatives about them?
I now have a 2003 Super Crew and only have 1,500 on it. Is it time to change to Amsoil now or should break in continue. Looking forward to changing over this vehicles
engine, transmission, rear end, axles, and radiator to Amsoil products they are by far superior to name brand advertised products.
Ches,I just wanted to let you know that I got the package with all the goodies. I'm pleased to report that both my cars are happy now! Thanks for your prompt service. It may be a silly question, but the air filter does fit with the AMSOIL logo up, wire screen down right? It's not explicitly stated in the directions. I was also pleased that the filter was pre oiled. I can already feel the difference in the Acura, it seems to run smoother.Paul
Using AMSOIL Full Warranty 5W-30. FYI... Our panel style filters: Screen side faces engine intake. (throttle body)
