REDUCES FRICTION, HEAT & WEAR

In high-heat conditions, AMSOIL’s new 5W-40 (MMF) Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil exceeds the standard for high-temperature film strength to deliver excellent wear protection. It keeps engines running cool by effectively reducing friction and heat. You’ll notice right away the lower temperatures on air-cooled engines. This formulation also contains a heavy treatment
of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. The 5W-40 motorcycle oil is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation-inhibitor additives. Reviews of the 5W-40 Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil

125,000 miles

By  DELL, a Verified Buyer  from Weldon on March 12, 2024

In 2005, I bought a new Suzuki Vstrom thousand and I ran nothing but Amsoil in it for the next 15 years and 125,000 miles never had one problem with the bike and the person I sold it to is still riding the bike today

No other oil compares

By  LARRY, a Verified Buyer from North Myrtle Beach, SC on June 07, 2024

For years I used every major brand of motorcycle oil on the market on my Harley’s and within the last fifteen years my Honda Goldwings. After changing over to Amsoil Metric, the Goldwings transmission shifted much smoother and quieter than any of the other oils including the Honda motor oil. It was such a noticeable difference that it was shocking. The right motor oil makes a huge difference.

Metric 10W-40 engine oil

By  W R, a Verified Buyer from Southern Ontario on September 15, 2023

Have been using the Amsoil Metric 10W-40 for the last 4 years on my Yamaha V Star 650 and now on a Yamaha V Star 950 – I originally used Yamalube 10W-40 on the 650 but didn’t like how loud the engine / valve train sounded so shifted to Mobil1 4T 10W-40 – it quieted down a bit – after 4 oil changes I decided to give Amsoil a try – again the sound decreased – all anecdotal but indicating less engine wear and tear – so I continue using it to this day – found the same noise level decrease with the 950. Another great benefit of Amsoil – is online order and delivery – basically the same price as dealership Yamalube and delivered to my door within 3 days and never out of stock. My one knock against Amsoil is the oil filter cost – $29.20 – I use a comparable filter – Hiflofiltro HF-204 @ $9.42 per filter with free shipping – c’mon guys – give us a break.
Editors note – as a preferred customer the filter is less than $14. Even the chrome one isn’t $29 so he’s mistaken here.  EAOM103.
